The Challenge
The goal was to create a system that simplifies time tracking by employee and by project, in a complex environment with multiple tasks, shifting workloads, and recurring reporting errors.
Managers needed accurate oversight, and employees needed a quick, clear way to log their hours—with reliable, real-time data.

The Users
The system is designed for two main user types:

User research
Research shows that company managers who work for multiple clients analyze the client's profitability by using Excel sheets or outdated systems with poor user interface or costly brand new systems that are over-complicated and confusing with unnecessary tools.

Main problem:
Time reports were often inconsistent or inaccurate, leading to lack of visibility, project delays, and inefficient resource management.

Market Research
As part of the research phase, I analyzed several existing solutions for time tracking by project and employee. While many tools offered basic tracking features, most lacked real-time visibility, intuitive UX, or the ability to filter performance by specific parameters like employee, client, or project. These gaps made it difficult for teams to get actionable insights or optimize productivity. This led me to design a more focused and user-centered solution.



The Solution
I designed a user-friendly system that enables both employees and managers to track and analyze work hours in real time. The solution simplifies reporting for employees while providing managers with clear, filtered insights by project, team member, or client. With smart automation, error prevention, and intuitive UI, the system improves accuracy, saves time, and increases transparency across the organization.

1. You can upload an Excel file and the system will automatically load the hours
2. The possibility of deletion and editing will be given only after clicking on 3 points, to avoid overloading the table.
